Newbie - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

Hey guys i'm new. I just traded my 07 Raptor 700 for a 08 KFX450R. I had a 04 Raptor 660 before.

I've been wanting to get a quad setup for MX. Can't wait to get some extra money to dump into this thing

Welcome aboard and glad to have you. There are plenty of tips and info on mods and such here along with a nice base of others who MX and XC to give you some help on setup and such.

I got the green one. Kawasaki's are suppose to be green.

This one has a K&N and PC3. A 36T rear sprocket is already on it. He gave me a 15T front sprocket with it. I want to get some 8" rears with 18s for the track and i'll probably throw the 15T on the front.

Bars are too low for me - thinking about investing in a nice +1 stem .

I'll be posting a tear down thread in the coming months. I'm going to powder coat the frame black
