Long travel shocks - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

If I get LT Arms that say, are meant for 18.5" shocks. Could I purchase used 18.5" shocks that were once on a LTR or YFZ or anything else? Or are the shocks meant for a specific machine?

You will probably have to talk to the shock manufacturer most likely to see the specs of the arms and see if they will work. The mount points may not line up.

Someone else can probably speak to this better.

Yes, they will work. It would be best to get those shocks rebuilt/revalved for your weight and quad set-up, but they would work.
