What is the perfect number of sprocket teeth? - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

I have a 15 tooth on the front. Anyone change the rear too? If so how many teeth did you go and what were the results?

i currently have a 15 in the front!im getting a 36 for the rear to just mess around w/ the combination!

i have 15 front 36 rear. but i have smaller front and rear tires. 20's in front and 18 in rear.

Let me know how that turns out. My best friend has a tricked out yfz and I can smoke him through the first 3 and half gears then he passes me. But the kawi is a much better woods bike, that's all that matters to me.

ya te kawi lacks the top end but ive seen new computers for sale on ebay as well increasing top speed 10mph!but forget in trails the kawi rocks!with all my mods now my top end is a little better but like you the 1st 3 gears rip!

I have 15/37 that I run for everyday riding.. for the dunes I drop down to stock in the front, really depends on the type of riding.

What are your mods on the quad? Most will go with the 15 up front. I drop the rear one and it help alot. Didnt seem to run out of gear as fast. Was planning on a 15/37 for final after internal mods. But that never happened.
