I just bought a used 08 KFX450. In order to start the quad, I have to be in neutral, but do not have to have the clutch lever pulled in. Is this how everyone else's works? I noticed two cut wires under the front plastic of the KFX and was wondering if at one point there was a switch that sensed if the clutch was pulled in, but maybe the previous owner had removed it.
My Z400 will start with just clutch pulled in, doesn't have to be in neutral. This is how I would prefer the KFX to start. Thanks. |

Do you have a wire coming up the handlebar into the clutch perch?
