Newbie checking in
Hey all my name is Rich. I'm on quite a few different forums, all with the same name. My passion is snowmobiling and I got into ATVing a couple years ago to fill in some summer time lol. Well being the mod addictive personality I am it of course opened another friggin money pit.
I started with an 06 Z400 and after modding the crap out of it I ended up switching to an 08 KFX450R last spring. Well after my first ride I got drunk and called the Kawi all kinds of names because of how slow it was. I've since installed Dasa full pipe, Fuel intake, PCV, Hotcams stage 3 cams, it's now a fire breathing dragon.
My son started out on a jap 110cc atv at the same time I got my Z400. We modded the crap outta the 110 and after the frame broke decided to step up to a better made youth atv. He's now on an 08 KFX90 with a Powroll 120cc bb kit and another list of mods. It's modded about as far as I think it'll go, we're just trying to cut as much weight as possible now. I am considering trying a bigger carburator though. Started out with a 16mm and we installed 21mm, thinking of jumping to a 24mm now.
Well anywho, this is my intro and I'm sticking to it. I'll be piping up soon enough asking opinions on what I should do next for mods, I'm debating a bb kit so that'll probably be my next thread. I'm off to browse around.
