Is anyone else going through clutches every 2 or 3 races? I'm tired of replacing them.

What clutch are you running? Ive been on my stocker for over 3 years with no signs of wear.

i have ran stock ,hinson ,ebc & barrnet. I'm running a hinson clutch basket. i race the gncc series. i have a friend who had the same problem. he got rid of the kawi & bought a honda.

Idk i have never had clutch issues. But i am tired of the electrical crap on it. Im almost thinking the honda route as well.

Had mine since new in late 07. Never replaced my stock clutch plates and racing w/a Rekluse all last season the stock fibers still had almost full life on them. Sounds like you're not doing something right. Are you pre-soaking the fibers? Proper freeplay? I've never heard of trashing a clutch that fast on any quad! Is your basket in good shape?

i've toasted a clutch every year @ snowshoe. must be those **** rocks.I never have had any electrical problems. just destroyed a starter though. wasnt a magnant left in 1 piece in it

Haha...Know how that goes. I my starter magnets were in a million pieces at my last race.
