Cutting the pink wire? - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

I have absolutely no idea what cutting the pink wire does/ will do but have heard people doing it..
Can anyone tell me what cutting the pink wire does? And if it would be a good idea for the KFX450R?

The "pink wire" mod is for the can am ds 450. The kfx has nothing like that.
