just got the 09 kfx monster energy 450r went from a 06'400 ex to this and it the best bike i've ridden so far!i've olny added a pro armor skid plate and h.i.d. headlights so far i'll get some of my pics on here soon heres the one from kawi!

Congrats man. I also went from a 400ex to a KFX450. Mine was a 03'. Do you have ne mod plans for it. Ive got a Stage 4 Trinity slip-on, pc3 and a custom intake. i hope you like it man, i love mine.

for now just the hid headlights got some nerf bars comming and some a-arm guards and a bumper! after the holidays i would like to do some new shocks first then eventually do an exhaust/power commander!oh i put a 15tooth sprocket on the bike 2!maybe some powder coat work!but i love the bike its awsome and its fast i already smoked my buddy on a ltz 450 gonna race my other buddy this week who has a polaris 500 preditor ill smoke him 2!

Congrats on the new purchase! get your intake/exhaust/pciii done before anything else..... What kind of HID's did you get? I am thinking of some new lights before heading out to the dunes again.

not sure of the brand its from the same company on ebay ive used for a while!but do a searce for a h6m thats the exact replcement will fit in stock location!than you can buy a whole kit w/ballasts it cost like 70 bucks but worth every penny!i think the guy i get from is hidwholesale@ebay.com takes about 20minutes to install but you do have to cut your harness!test for your low beam switch solder conections tape or heat shrink and reuse rubber boots that seal lights in holder just throw some silicone in side to real seal around wires!then zip tie ballasts under hood till there secure!

ya ya need those were i ride lots of mudd/water/rocks/snow im from rhode island there kenda bear claws 22x12x9 plus i get a little more ground clearance!in the summer ill switch back 2 mudd sharks

hope u have alot of fun on it. hey just wandering where did u get those headlights at i was wanting to get some differant ones but didnt know where to get them?

ebay do a search in automotive look under h6m hid kits these bulbs fits perfect you have to cut the harness they do sell kits that can plug in buts cheaper to get a spare set of headlight harnesses than the hid direct plug in kits those are like 200 bucks+ i scored these for 60 bucks and worth every penny!you can buy the bulbs seperate and the ballasts seperate or as a kit but its cheaper doin it seperate!
