You are going to see an improvement in any after market exhaust system regardless of what you get. Most systems are lighter than stock and have better flow so you will feel a difference. However it is not so much of a difference that you will have trouble controlling it. If you really don't want the extra power because you don't feel ready for it then save your money and run the stock system. Its really not that bad just too quiet and the can is a little heavy. You can take the baffle out if you want to make it louder.
Just get some more practice riding until you feel comfortable with more power before you get an exhaust. In the mean time you can get a steering stabilizer to help with the handling of the quad. It makes all the difference in the world with this quad and will give you more of a confidence boost once you get used to it. Better handling will always make you a faster rider than just sheer horsepower in my opinion.

i had the dmc's its a good system a bit more money than single exhaust systems but look wise and sound wise they rock!those will actually add a bit more torqe than hp!
