strange threads--responses to threads..

what does everyone else think about this. I don't respond alot on this forum,or post,but when i come here to read threads and see what's goin on,there always seem to be totally random threads,or replies in a thread that have nothing to do with the thread at all.....i'm sure others have noticed this as well..might it be spam..something else isn't there a way to block that stuff?

I rarely come here anymore... it seemed like there was more spam activity than legit posts there for a while and I had to be mindful of little eyes behind me... so I just kinda stopped coming... but do try to still stop in now and again.

yeah i have noticed that too. it was always one called introduction or something close to that. but yeah idk .

You are correct. Theres lot of spam that gets onto this site. When the section of central.com was first made, we never had spam. But all of sudden, we were getting hundreds of spam post a day and most of it was adult content. I would spend hours a week blocking and removing spam member but seemed nothing was help. I even went through all the members deleting ones that weren't legit. One the site was overhauled and new owners, things have calm down except for what you see now. Im not able to get into the systems like I used too. More of a moderator not an admin. But I guess that doesn't matter since I get on here once every blue moon.
