hi One of my mates has the new 450 kawasaki two wheeler and I have heard that our kfx 450's are running the exact same motor in our quad frame. The other day he had just knocked up 39 hours on is bike, when the grungion pin let go and tore into the piston scratched the bore etc. he rang up kawasaki and apartently he is supposed to change the pistons and rings around every 40hours. Has anyone else heard of this or could find out if this is correct. do we need to change our pistons every 40 hrs or so????? has anyone else had any dramas
I wonder if this was yokleys problem
