hey everybody, im looking at an kfx 450r to buy and i found one that is $3800. The only problem is that the chain broke and wrapped around the front sproket, cracking the case. I was wondering how much if you could tell this fix would be. Thanks in advance.

That's a tough one. A cracked case is a very serious occurrence--but I have seen some succesfully fixed with some welding, and even some with the "cold weld" JB weld-type stuff. I have also seen some that were not repairable and required a new set of cases. You should have it looked at by a competent mechanic before you dish out $3800...
