i race harescrambles and we use dead engine starts. i am the only kawasaki in vet class dominated by yamahas. i need to get my quad started faster. already did the tps ajustment read somewhere that a yusa yzt7s battery that comes on the trx450 would help anybody know for sure? any other advice would be helpful

the trx battery give more CCA's

also adjusting the idle control knob will help

ive got a kfx and we have 4 yamahas and 4 trx and usually an ltr in a class in district 16 harescrambles and im usually in the top 3 on starts. dont know what to telll ya.. sorry dude

make sure your TPS is adjusted correctly and your battery is fully charged

I run a yamaha r1 streetbike motor battery in mine. Gets it started quick!
