wont start with electric start - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

ok, so i adjusted my valves. only the exhaust was out of spec. i put the new shims in and rechecked them all and all were within spec now. now my quad wont start with the electric start. we pull started it and i put it in 2nd gear once we got goin and let the clutch out and it fired up instantly. i let it warm up for a few mintues and rode it around a little bit and it ran perfect, pulled hard and everything. i tried disconecting the PC3 and didnt do anything. i am stumped and wanted to see if you guys had any ideas.

When you say it won't start with electric start, is it cranking but just not firing or is it not cranking at all?

it is cranking over fine just wont fire.

I think he got the answer on the other site and they said it was the chain tensioner that is why I haven't replied here.

Hopefully we will get an update soon.

it wasnt the chain tensioner. i have no idea what it is.

Get your tps checked...it's fairly simple to do

i did check it it was at .56 so i moved it up to .62.
