I was working on my buddy's kfx today and noticed that his thermostat housing was leaking. I checked the bolts and they were tight. I pulled the housing off and to my suprise there is not thermostat on the bike just a gasket. The gasket was fine so I put a little RTV on the gasket and bolted the housing back on and so far doesn't seem to leak.
Anyone know why kawi didn't use a thermostat on the bike. KT |
