Not sure where this goes, feel free to move, how much extra electrical power (amps/watts) is available to power extra lights
or heated clothing, manual says alt. puts out 14amps.

I am not sure the exact answer to your question but I do know that I have grip and thumb warmers. The alternator will still change the battery with both on full blast drawing a total of 3 amps total.

ya thats no problem the only time youll notice a problem is in extreme cold they dont make a larger stator yet for the kawi 450!wtf!i have only hids and althought they use less power while running when they start is when they draw alot but no major issues just have to watch it in the cold like when starting the quad keep the lights off thats about it!
