i've decided to beef the kfx up for this coming year i'm putting in a 13:1 piston kx cams pIII most likely dasa exhaust and if fuel atv is willing to gimmie any deal if i buy the big three then his intake
my question is will the oe clutch be strong enough for the increased hp. ( i just burned it out in under a year ) i don't have the money to buy the whole hinsen clutch kit for 1000. Any alternatives? can i use just hinsen plates and not the basket springs. ect.. any thoughts would be helpful |

I like stock fibers and steels over anything. Hinson stuff is great but its over priced i think its 200$ for clutch and fibers. Those mods stock clutches are no problem. If i was you there a smaller fiber and a ring on the inside of all the clutches. Replace the mini fiber and ring with a full fiber. And throw some washers on your clutch springs to stiffen it up the cheap way. This should get u trough the year with no problems
