I run the FCI with the box and the only complaint is the filter fits so tight it rubs a hole in the outerwear after a few rides but I talked to FCI and they should have a little shorter filter soon to fix the problem, if your not using the box then it works great with no issues.

I run the FCI on both my bike and my wife's bike we love it. Huge power gains over stock. We have the air box version for a bit more protection in the Washington weather

Default Kfx450r intake?

Hi guys, recently purchased a LTE twin systerm for my KFX450R can anyone tell me what intake will fit with the twin systerm fitted.Because i live in Australia parts are not easy to access so i have purchase from the states and postage is the big killer.I have already puchsed two intakes recommed from a bike shop in USA and these do not fit.I have purchased the K&N Kit and also fuel customs intake and also will not fit,so im not happy. $1000 dollars down the drain. Could someone please help me.

To of the best companies in the market for quad intakes and they don't fit. Do you think it might be the installer? factory kawi race team used fci for a whole season with no issues.
