ok i added some mods to my kfx 450r dmc full dual exhaust, dmc efi, k and n filter, power lid this was a good improvement .
Now i am ready for the next phase but looking for advice don't want to waste money or time. Ok head full port, deep pocket, bowl blending and runners. Cylinder bore replate [nickical] cp piston 98 mm 13.1. Stage 2 hot cams.
Bore throttle body. Now i had Herr juggs racing do a stroker banshee and i am happy with his work. I spoke to him about this mod. I was directid from another forum to go to this forum for advice also noted that the kawi cranks don't like high comp ???? is this true any help ???

If you have not done an intake, then do a fuel customs intake(It was a 5hp gain for me). If you are going to do a new piston, you might consider a big bore. As far as the cams, if you are going to do hotcams then try the stage 3, it is still a drop in cam and does not require different valve springs. Web cams offers +1mm valves(they are in the dirtbike section, but they should work with the quad) Any of these would be great, but I would do the intake first, then go from there.
I almost forgot, the bored throttle body is a good mod, it added 2hp for me except for on the peak. I could tell a difference on the bottom to mid pull. Dasa did mine, and went 3mm over. As for the crank it should be good with the high compression.
