hey guys im aaron...new to the forum.. i just bought a 2009 kfx 450 a few weekends ago.
I was dissapointed when i first got it... im used to a z400 and my z had way more power then the kfx. but, it was stock and not broken in yet. However, i have it broken in now (almost) and added a phoenix full exhaust and a FCI intake... what should be next ? PC 3 or PC 5? also, what would be nice cams to add? |

A nice set of cams would be the stock 07 or 08 dirtbike cams, they drop right in with no modifications. It was a 2hp gain for me, and only cost me about $65 from ebay. If you are not worried about changing the stock valve springs, then I would try a set of web camshafts grind number 493-813(it is in the dirtbike section) I have these(web cams) purchased for my 488 big bore project. As for the programmer, I have the pc3, I dont really know anything on the pc5. For the price though you might be able to get a excellent deal on a used pc3 from ebay.
