familiar to trx450r and not kfx, and just picked one up. prob is it won't start. turns over fine, gets fuel out of the pump and through the throttle body, sparks, and seems to be in time. guy i got it off of said he had a head gasket put in and ever since then it won't fire up. as you crank it over it pops and cracks, but just won't fire over. please help me get this thing started.

If its got fuel and fire then it should run unless when he had the head gasket put it they didnt time it right... if its backfiring while starting then i bet they have it out of the time!
