Help my Reverse light is on??

During My last race, My 09 Kfx 450r started giving me the Reverse light, and Reverse rev limiter while in fwd gears!!! Yea after some troubleshooting i find that this only happens when in wet conditions ( creeks and big water holes ) dry conditions it did not re-occur. I went over the wires and connections under the hood re taping and siliconing wires, i used di-electrical grease in connections.
Where is the reverse sensor/rev limiter, or what ever could be causing this when it gets wet????
I rode today, and got it quite wet, and only experienced the Reverse light to come on when throttle at idle. Once throttle was pushed the reverse light would go out not giving the rev limiter.
Reverse works fine, and light comes on when in reverse, and rev limiter works in reverse.
What do i do??

i would double check all the wires you can!up under the hood were the lights are as well/were the wires go into the cases!i no you said you did it but it still seems like somethins grounding out causing your problem!also check all your grounds make sure you have a good connection on that as well!good luck seems electrical issues are a bit of a pain to finally figure out on these things!
