kfx engine mods. help! - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

hey. im new to owning a kfx and would really like to wake it up power wise. please let me know which mods are definatly worth my time. and does putting kx cams in help much?

if u really want to wake it up do the big three, which is a full exhaust, and intake, and a fuel manager. alot of guys do a full dasa exhaust, a fuel customs intake, and a power commander 3...thats whats know as the big three

okay. its got an hmf slip on on it now so ill have to dump that first. but thanks! so is touching the cams really worth it?

Google "kfx450 before cams and after" something should pop up where a guy posted his dyno results before and after his cam install (was a couple hp increase i think)

cams are a great mod!especially kx450 cams much cheaper than stage 2 hotcams with a 3 to 4hp gain!i just did them not too long ago and it was well worth it!as for pipes most full exhausts are all pretty close hp wise!the biggest increase is gonna be changing your intake/filter fci is by far the best thing goin right now add a pc3 for a huge range of adjustability and youll be happy!

okay thanks! im intersted in cams, full exhaust, aftermarket intake systems/ ltr tubes and a power comander. let me know if ya got some for sale.
