Default New bike smoking on start up?

I have a 08 kfx450r and try to start it up every week if i dont ride that weekend to keep things moving. But today i noticed on a cold start with a small rev that it puffed out smoke! i just did a oil change about a week ago and about to do my second valve ajustment since buying the bike last year, im kinda of nervous about this, is this normal??????

Mine does the same thing not a big deal it's just burning off extra fuel from the start up.

just had this happen today ran it for about 10 minuetes and still puffed some smoke when i reved it, i ran it the other day to wash it for this weekends, but when i was loading it on the truck tonight is when i noticed it, im scared as **** that i am going to screw something up tommorrow on the dunes.

this is the second time i noticed it smoke, once before after a wash also, i am extra carefull not to get water in the exhaust.

anyway can anyone give me some reassuring word as to what it might be thanks.
