What oil to run? - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

Have a bone stock 450. Just broke in, what oil should i use. And hopefully somthing i can pickup at oriellys or autozone.

Do not use car/truck oil! Get some Motul 10w40, full synthetic, its pretty good oil.

you can get valvoline atv oil at autozone in 10w40 i use it never had any problems with it

Use Lucas Oil it's sold at Orielly's and it has the JASO additive the bike is required to run also in the summer I recommend 20w50 and for the winter run 10w40. Orielly's has the oil in a different isle then the other oil just ask the store clerk.

I run Rotella Synthetic in both my KFX450 and Z400. It has been good to me so far!
