Needing a killswitch before the 7th and every dealer I go to says they're on backorder. So where are they available at to buy right now and which is recommended for the KFX? I've been using Pingel's on other quads but just want something that will work.

Also, where in the **** can I find a different sprocket setup? Nobody has them listed anywhere that I can find. I swapped to 18" rear tires and every gear is useless but 4th/5th basically. I need to go up one tooth on the front or down on the rear or something, but nobody can seem to find any available sprockets.

Pingel, Pingel, Pingel...

Pingel Part #640 should be the one you need. I haven't wired a KFX450 yet, but I can guarantee you'll tap the two Pingel wires into the "Run On/Off" wires of the Black Blob on the left side of the bars. Take the Blob off the bars and find out what two wires make it function, cut them, and wire them to the Pingel #640, and it'll work like a charm...

I'll get into the dealer on Tuesday morning and find out what two wires those are, and get back in here with the info - if you guys don't have it already...

Any idea on new sprockets? You can't tell me people are racing on 18's w/stock sprockets and liking it.

Haven't tried that. Dealer said they would order one and I could try. If not they'd put it on the shelf. Not in yet though.

It just amazes me how they geared them stock. W/18's it tops out when other quads are hitting 5th gear. It revs faster I believe but bad gearing combo.

I'll check out the dirtbike KX-F front sprockets tomorrow morning when I'm trying to beg the dealer into letting me take the bar controls apart...

The front sprockets on the 250F are different, and there wasn't a 450F on the floor (or in the back). No luck on front sprocket info...

I couldn't talk the dealer into letting me unbolt the Black Blob from the bars, either, but I'll try it again today, and bring back pics.
