Today I had to remove the stock rear shock and getting the top bolt out was almost impossible. The frame is actually in the way for the bolt to come all the way out. Has anyone else had this experience with removing the stock shocks?
Here is what I removed. 1. Air box completely out. 2. Two bolts off lower linkage (with jack under bike) 3. Upper shock bolt 4. Lower shock bolt What a pain in the neck! |

I'm still impressed with the bike... after grinding off the small piece metal (seemed like extra casting) that was keeping the bolt from coming out everything went smooth. Also the right side brackets on the air box had to be completely removed from the frame in order to a line them backup with the holes on the plastic air box.
