i put my houser arms on this weekend and to my surprise i had absolutely noooo front brake pads. i freaked because i was one ride away from destroying my front rotors. i found this odd because my 400 pads would last at least a year and here its been 7 months and there gone on the 450. just wondering if anyone else notice them wearing out quickly.

I have noticed the same thing. I proably have around 15 rides on the bike and front brake pads are completely gone and the rears aren't to far from being gone. However I do ride in alot of sand and dirt mix.

I have heard of this happening before on KFX's, you should upgrade to aftermarket pads, ive heard that streamline brake pads are supposed to be the best hands down.
