I ran 15T and 36T with a 18" and it felt nice, real strong.

Did you only run that setup with the 18s or with anything bigger? I'm running 15T up front wit stock tires (soon to be repalced) and contemplating the 36T in back..Ill probably stick with 20 or 21 rear tire..With the mods I don't feel any serious pick up until i hit 4th and because the gearing is still low.. (TCS, hopefully i didnt hijack your thread but when I read these thing i get thinking about what next i want to do)

Yeah man. Now I got a 37T with 19" tires and it feels the same but I want a 35T now. I got the 37T by mistake of the seller.

Since I mostly desert ride I may go with 21inch tire, keep 15t up front and stocker in back..That should help give a little better gearing
