How long should the front brake lines be for +2 a-arms?

I bought a +2 long travel front end kit and everything is installed, except the front brake lines. The lines that came with my kit are 53.5 inches long each and it is a 2-line kit from streamline braking. I think that they sent me the wrong lines as they seem way too long for a quad and were probably meant for a side by side with +2 a-arms. Can anyone help me out by telling me how long the brake lines I need should be? Any help would be greatly appreciated because its kind of hard to ride without front brakes which I have been doing all month so far...
