Here is a quick tip for toe in adjustment. My 09 was set up 1/2" toe out from the factory or dealer. (measurement at the front of the tires 1/2" more than the measurement and the back of the tires). I wasn't happy with the way it handled so I bought a service manual. It calls for 0-1/2" toe in. I started with 1/2" toe in and the steering was much quicker, too quick. The back wanted to slide out with the slightest turn, fun, but dangerous at high speed. I just changed it to 1/4" toe in and it feels great. It steers very quick and the back is more planted and stable.
When you measure, use the outside of the center knobby. Also be sure the bars are straight and turn the tie rod adjusters evenly! You can strap the bars with tie downs if you want to. Use only the weight of the quad when adjusting. |

thanks for the tip, ill have to check out my stocker! But toe, caster, and camber are all supposed to be adjusted with the rider on the quad... bump steer may cause 1/4" toe in to be 1/2" once the suspension is settled with a rider on board..... camber measurements may also be slightly different, but no need to worry about that on a stocker
