Tusk Foot Peg Nerf Bars With Heel Guards - Kawasaki KFX450 Forum

I have DG nerf bars that the previous owner put on, and they seem sturdy but I dont really like the look of them. I want to buy new nerf bars that have the heel guards built in. I saw that tusk made some and was wondering if anybody has them and could tell me how well they hold up. They are on ebay for $180 and look really nice. The price seems great but there is no sense in buying them if they are going to break. If someone could reply back and help me out that would be great.

I think they are junk. Buddy has them on his kawi 450r and they have broken and bent. Save your change and buy quality, such as Rath or the DG pro peg factory versions, not junk.

my buddy has them for his z400 they are ok but id agree with ^^^^^^^^save the xtra money and go with a heavy dutier set!i like the pro armors myself!

Thanks for the replies guys, I had that feeling after reading some reviews. I think I will search around and try to find some pro armor nerfs for a good price. If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for yours ononewheel?

After looking around at some different companies I found UM Ball Burnished Pro Peg Nerf Bars. I cant find any reviews on them so I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with them.

Mate I've got the tusk nerf bars for the the money you pay for them good value I haven't had a problem with them easy to fit and look good

I still am skeptical because of the price, but they do look good. How long have you had them? Some people have said that the mounts and welds are not strong, have you noticed any weak points with the mounts?

In fact, I feel a bitgrey's anatomy DVD sad this evening, as yesterday was my last night watching the season 2 DVD of Grey's Anatomy. Every night I could not wait to crawl in bed and watch episodes smallville dvd1-3. I think I feel "withdrawal" symptoms in the evening

Season 2 plays with his emotions throughout the season ... with a huge buildup of emotions in the last two episodes. I was walt disney DVDvery disappointed to break Meredith and Derek in a season, as I waited and waited and waited in the season 2 somehow get back together. The program requires that to begin to house md DVDlove Addison, but you can not stop missing Meredith and Derek together anyway.I can not wait until the end of season 3 and will be released on DVD! I do not like to see the reviews that give the closer DVDaway any concrete therein, if readers have not watched the show again ... so I leave out - the season finale looks fantastic! And everything else is wonderful too! And I'll say no more

I'm with steve1234. This is the best bike I've ever owned. I got my '08 in Oct. '07. I will never get rid of it! GREAT BIKE! Oh yeah, and I do have a set of those Tusk nerf bars with the heel guards. But I just got'em and installed'em. Not much time on them yet but they look awesome!!! I got mine from Cascade Motor Sports. I found them on ebay. $175.00, free shipping.
