I recently rebuilt my rear shock and fork oil on a 2005 KX 250 two stroke. Doing it inspired me to redo the oil and nitrogen in my quad and then after removing the rear shock I wondered - can the suspension be rebuilt where you drain the oil and put fresh oil in? I ride pretty hard and figured the original oil was past its life. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated - I noticed the service manual does not cover the disassembly at all.
