I'm still using the stock airbox, how the heck do you get the stock airbox cage out/off, does it have to be cut out?

Got it done last night, took a dremel tool and cut the cage off flush with the inside airbox wall. Used about 5 discs getting the job done, but its done.

I finally got around to cutting that little cage out last night and now i'm getting a mad bog, and it won't idle to well. So, did you guys get this kind of reaction from your quads?

I noticed a big change in it when I did mine. Had to step up on the map a little to compensate for the extra airflow

They're **** near IMPOSSIBBLE to fully remove. Before you butcher it up too bad, I'd recommend getting a die grinder (90 degree ones work great) or a dremel tool and just cutting the cage off flush with the box; It's not worth trying to muscle the **** thing out. (I broke the little pin off of my inlet air temp sensor when I tried)

After that, the gasket goo they give you will fill up any irregularities you've created. (I just made a gasket out of some sheet rubber we use around the shop for making gaskets)
