Since the power band tapers off drastically after 8,000 RPM's, and the KFX redlines at 10,500, wouldn't it make sense to limit the throttle to 80% of WOT to ensure you never accidentally reduce horsepower by holding the throttle wide open? Otherwise it's a constant guessing game when racing to know your precise shifting points for maximum horsepower.
