Im kinda new to this. I just bought a new 08 kfx450r. After purchasing the bike i ordered a slip on exhaust and a new air filter which are on the way. This is probably a stupid question but i was wondering if it would be smart to put these mods on before gettin a programmer or if i should wait. Any help as to what i should do would be awesome. Thanks

since you're only putting a slip-on and filter on you'd be alright running it before you get a programmer. if you replace the intake tube with something more efficient though your bike might run too lean and over time it could cause some damage. not sure about that though. i first got a slip-on and it ran fine. but after i got a whole new intake system i could really tell it wasn't getting enough fuel
