hmf optimizer

He guys I was wondering how far I can tune with a HMF. My friend bought a quad to flip with one on it and so I get it for 50 bucks. My mods are filter and slip on. Is it worth it or should I not even waste my time.

sure why not remove air box lid set fuel optimizer on 1.5 / 4 / 2 & give it a try should run better

What do you mean by set it at 1.5/4/2 I am running a lexx fuel controller but I think it has alot more modes then just 3 and I am trying to get it dialed in I have a FCI intake kx hotcams and exhaust any help would be great thanks.

well the hmf has 3 more modes but they say dont change those. on mine it has a plus & minus button & mode button in middle push mode button once it light green push plus button to add fuel or minus to take away push mode button twice it will light up yellow which is for half throttle and green was for quarter throttle same thing add or take away fuel push mode button three times it will light up red on the numbers which is full throttle if you push the plus button the number will light up like 123456789 stop on the number you want and it does this in all modes so when i said try 1.5 / 4 / 2 i meant for him to set it that way & try it mode one green on 1.5 mode two yellow on 4 & mode three red on 2 it worked for me real good with just exhaust & air box lid off. now with the fci intake it needed more fuel i think i have it set on 4.5 / 6 / 5 i think i'd have to check it to be sure but i think thats what its on now. hope that helped.
