i just ordered a phoenix full exhaust off ebay and now my friend is telling me to jet it once i put it on my quad.what exactly do i have to do

The KFX is fuel injected. Jets are for carburated machines.
With just a exhaust you will be fine. If you decide to change the intake(higly recommended) then you will need a fuel controller.

You should take your air box lid off for more gain and use a fuel optimizer for better performance try settings 1.5 / 4 / 2 and see how it runs.

Taking the lid off wont do much. Its the intake tube that is so restrictive.

i agree but taking the lid off with the stock intake is better then leaving it on
