I wonder if you can get the black rims on the green one. That's probably up to the dealer, maybe.

In all honesty....i think if dealers offered up options like Car dealers do...they could sell alot more. Look at Alba for example, if they sold Kawi's....i would really have to consider buying one from them. Usually they sell them with Graphics and gripper seat cover installed, full aftermarket exhaust systems, tuned already, good bars, and a few other things for manufacturers MSRP. Now, imagine if the dealer offered up different "option" packages. Yes you'll put more money in it BUT when i buy mine i'm already gonna be financing the price anyways....why not add some to it and raise my payment up a little and have it the way i want it!!!!

Well it's probably going to be up to the dealers, but I think most people will want the polished wheels so if you want the black ones it shouldn't be too much of a problem for them to swap them.

It will probably happen on the second year model.thats when they try to bust up sales after the first years out then they cange color to sell alot more in my opinion.

I personally want just the polished look. I like the painted look but with me racing xc they will get all scratched up the first time I race the thing. And once they start getting scratched up IMO I think they look ugly.

nah I disagree, I've got an '88 Honda TRX250R, with original rims, been through 20 years of riding and stuff, and the original polish looks good still.

He is talking about the blk powder coated rims. The polished ones hold their appearance well, but anything powdercoated or painted scratch easily and look bad especially iuf XC racing.
