I was trying to install the quiet core (sparky) on the Dasa pipe and couldnt figure it out, wasnt sure if I had to take it apart or if it was "inserted" at the tip...Phoned Dasa (great customer support by the way) and they instructed me to put the core directly into the center of the pipe, must be dead on center i was told, then the wave washer and the clip to follow, will need needle nose pliers to get the clip on.
Figured i'd post this in case anyone is looking to do the same...the sparky is required for desert/forest riding in AZ so i'll keep it in until dune season arrives... |
