Im going to run a Harescramble in July for the first time, and I was wondering what you guys are using for Chest protectors and Hydro packs or is there a combo out there that combine the two

I believe there is someone out there that makes a combo. I had the fox chest protector first so I just bought a camelbak. I wear it over the chest protector. It has worked great for me for the last couple of years riding the dunes and at several XC races.

I have the Moose camelback. It's small enough to be comfartable under the chest protector, but big enough that I can't drain it in 1 race.

Hey,

I use a Fly Racing convertible chest protector/ hydration pack.
JT Cycle sells them on fleaBay check out Item number: 280206102425.
Mine works great, fits well, & doesn't bounce around or bulk up too bad.

Hope this helps !

LTGTR,

Andy

I.ve used a camelback for years, and only started using body armour at my last race.
It felt fine with the camelback over the top of the thor armour!!

I have had body armour for a 2 years and never used it but after a very stoney race i got fed up of rocks and stones bouncing of me!!!!
