I can not answer the question of whether or not our guide will fit with an aftermarket skid because there are so many variations of them. However with a spacer kit and our guide you can run your stock skid. The only downside to this is that with the guide and the stock skid installed together the stock skid hangs about a 1/2" lower. I have to agree with MXrider38 though if it comes to motocross a skid isn't really necessary for competition, providing the track is properly groomed.

Guess that leaves us dual XC/MX guys out. My PRM skid has some serious gouges and dings in it from racing XC, so aftermarket skid is a must.

If someone pics one up and tries it with an aftermarket skid would be great to see some pics.

I'm out in the desert and I can say i've gone through two skids..without it I would have been walking home from a trashed sprocket & brake rotor..If only the desert was like the dunes!

Your the second person that has mentioned the rpm skid. Would it be possible to post some pics of that skid plate. I tried looking up pics online of that one and couldn't find any. If i saw that brand installed i could give you an honest answer on whether or not our guide would work with it.

Thanks

If there is someone in my area with that skid we can try mine on. I can't ride anyway since I am waiting on my shocks to get back.

After looking at their site and seeing their KFX Swingarm skid plate, I can confirm that Our guide and there skid wouldn't work together. The bottom of our guide would hit the top of there plate.
Sorry guys
