This is a new product From 65 Designs.
This Product fits The KFX, and has been designed to help eliminate issues with the chain popping off a finding its way through those pricy engine cases. The Guide is constructed of anodized 6061 aluminum and high temp / high impact polyethylene, bolted together using stainless steel flush mount bolts with nylock nuts. The Guide bolts to OEM skid plate mounts on the chain side of the swingarm using an inline mounting configuration to ensure maximum shear resistance on the fasteners. Secured with two 8mm bolts recessed in the mounting bracket, keeping the bolts out of the way of rocks, sticks, and exc. With its split guide design routing the chain is nearly effortless, even if there is no master-link.

65 Designs co. was recently established, though they have been in the background developing and testing products for the better part of a decade. Testing and competing with top riders in our industry has givin us the knowledge and performance based experience needed to produce premium components to match the performance and durability that we as racers and riders require.

It is possible but i build them in sets of 10 and all the ones i have at the moment have already been anodized grey and assembled. I would be very curious to see what the majority of would prefer, "Black or Grey". Perhaps i'll do the next batch "which are two weeks from completion" anodized in black?

Do they HAVE to be anodized? It could be cheaper if they don't.

I apologize but they all come anodized. I have to send each batch at the same time due to there lot charges it wouldn't be worth it to only do a half batch. The anodizing actually has its perks other than the asthetics. It also acts as a sort of protectant for the aluminum, not only a harder skin, but also as a layer to keep the aluminum from succumbing to the perils of corrosion.

Just got my chain guide in today and installed. I must say I am very impressed, especially for a new company. Fitment was PERFECT. The bolts supplied were a little long but I have a large assortment so it was no issue. I would definately say this is a must have for the 450. I have been racing mx for 8 years and would never touch the track without one. The service was equally impressive. I received prompt replies and shipping was just as good. They emailed me a tracking number when shipped also.

Just for the record I am no way affiliated with them, just wanted to pass on some info. Quality fitting parts and good customer service are hard to come by these days but they hit it right the first time around.

Just out of curiosity, are you running a stock swing arm and how about skid plate? It's hard to tel if it'll fit with an aftermarket skid..

I am running stock swingarm with no skidplate. I personally think a skidplate on the swinger is useless. This is better insurance for chain derail and broken cases.
