If you've followed the story then here it is. 08 KFX450R. Has two hours on it so is a brand new machine virtually. Rolled it one time in a corner and due to a faulty weld the frame bent.

I am still waiting to see what will happen w/the quad but it looks like the frame will be replaced. So it will be a quad w/2hrs on it and a brand new frame, ultra-trick Pingel killswitch, 15t and 14t sprockets, and spark arrestor removed but will go with.

$7000 flat for all that and I'll even pay your entry fee to a race or track if you want to meet and ride when getting it.

The price isn't all that bad for a brand new frame, 2hr engine, a killswitch that's about $100 by itself plus installation, brand new rims/tires only used one time, and just a kickass quad.

MIGHT take offers but I'll just keep if I don't get what I want. I'll stick to my C'Dales for racing for now.

I really just want to buy another C'Dale and build it/take what's left over and pay off the dealer.

I'd consider it though if it's not a long drive. Wouldn't mind trying out a YFZ for a little while before selling it. The KFX will be ready to go hopefully by the end of the week. Faulty weld caused the problem so new frame should solve that.

EDIT: If my posting about getting more C'Dales scares you away; it's not really b/c of the quad. I've ridden/raced pretty well every quad and the KFX was the first quad I thought had the potential to be better than my Dales. Could it be? Probably yes. I've just got so much invested in my C'Dales and I've raced them so long that I feel way more comfortable on them. The KFX I feel like I'm going faster but b/c I'm so used to the C'Dales I'm blowing away lap times on it even though I don't feel as fast. Funny but true.

Bump! New frame on it's way. This will be a brand new quad but some minor scratches on plastic and about 2hrs of ride time. This frame will be like it should and welded correctly.

Wow, how'd you do that? Most I've talked to around here have got them between $8k and $8600otd. The dealer invoice after taxes and all here is almost what you paid so you got a great deal PCM.

I got a great deal on mine but if I sell it then I have to pay off the dealer for voiding a sponsorship opportunity and that is the dealer invoice which is right at $7k.

As for the weld; I tried. It's near impossible to get a photo or it and you can barely see it. I tried but you couldn't even tell. The frame will start being swapped tomorrow so I'll see if I can once the frame is disconnected from everything before it goes back to Kawi.
