To the naysayers and all, my KFX will be going in tomorrow to have the frame swapped out by Kawasaki.
The faulty weld on the frame that caused the bend has been reported elsewhere so check your steering stem mounting plate to make sure yours is fully welded. Cases have been isolated but reported so make sure yours is not. Mine was the 1720th off the production line and two other cases I have heard were also in the low 1700s. Not sure what would've caused that but was fixed pretty quick evidently. So for the most part you all should be good on the frame, just check to make sure. The left side sitting on the quad is the problem on those units.

I hope to be able to snap some photos of the frame when removed and better show what is wrong w/it.

(POWER IDEA moved to ENGINE discussion!)
