Can you tell me what you paid OTD or what I should expect to pay? They are actually the closest dealer to me, but I don't know them at all. I usually work with North Valley Honda/Kawi or Kelly's.

Hey Axe, you and everybody else knows that the dealers aren't going to give you squat for a trade in. They dont care you invested thousand of dollars into it. I know parting it out really sucks, I had to do it. Still got parts. Anyways, that may be your only hope. Unless you can find some one to buy it outright for 4000.. There are alot of people that bought theirs otd under 7k. HEP racing is selling theres for 6000 with aftermarket accessarys. Looks like a good deal.

Well, so far so good. I traded my KFX400 tonight and got $3100 for it. The dealer is going to pull the Elka shocks off it for me at no charge and install the stockers, so I got the deal I wanted. The only real parts I thought I could resell and make a little more money was the Vortex ignition, and the PRM bumper and 6 pack rack. I figure I might have gotten a couple hundred $ max, so it wasn't worth the time and effort to sell try and resell them.
The parts guy at the dealer is interested in buying the Elkas for his quad that he races in some amateur races. If that works out, it will be a screaming deal with virtually no headaches.
I think it will come out beyond the $4k I was looking for on the package. Considering I paid $5599 OTD for it 5 years ago, I am happy.
Now here's the catch. I didn't get another quad, I got a Ducati Hypermotard. I guess the rest of dune season will be a little slow in the Rhino, but carving up the twisties will take on new meaning.
I like the deal on the 450R quads from Creamer and HEP. I may have to wait a while now. None of the local dealers seemed to want to get below the $7K mark on the 450R. I can wait for a better deal.
Here is my new ride! Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

). After every ride, I have to put $100 in savings just in case I get popped. My first mod will be a radar detector mount and hard wire kit for the Passport I have. I have run it on my FZ1 for about 4 years and it has saved my but several times. Never had a ticket on my bike and only a few in my truck.
