Testing the waters to see if anyone wants a quad like this. If not, may be willing to part out. This was built for a DirtWheels article and was featured in the December 2007 mag. The project was a WORCs racer. The bike was raced in the Vet class of the Aug. 2007 Round of WORCs in Olympia by Cain Smead. It has been ridden 2 subsequent times in the Oregon dunes. Here is the list of mods / parts on the quad. The engine was built for reliability and strong midrange power. You do not have to rev it out to see peak power. It is not a full-on race motor; works awesome for tight mx and woods. I would suggest gearing changes for more wide open mx or high-speed stuff. That said, it still put out 49.70 hp at the wheels.

It has a total running time of around 25hrs total (including dyno). At retail, the modifications run over $9,600. Add the price of the quad and you would be looking at somewhere close to 17K to build one like it. Asking 11K. Questions to [email protected]. Thanks!

Sweet looking kfx. Hope it sells. Just needs to change out the pipe and filter, and someone should be set.
