DMC is almost done with their exhaust. I should have some pictures next week. It is a Dual system similar to the Raptor dual system. According to DMC they tried alot of different pipe configurations including singles, stepped ect and got the BEST results with the duals. Take that for whats its worth, i guess we'll see when it comes out. I hope their right. I like duals, but not when i am sacrifing performance.
They are also telling me that their DMC EFI is also ready.

wouldnt dual exhaust be heavier? and theres only one exhaust port it doesnt make sence.

Not necessarily. I know w/the C'Dales on the high powered engines the dual exhaust system created a big flow increase thanks to much more air getting out. Probably on a stock or lightly modded KFX it wouldn't be worth a set of duals though. Open it up, put high comp piston, cams, porting, etc, and it'd probably be good for some extra horsepower.

I have yet to see a signle exhaust port motor benifit from dual exhaust, at least more than a good single, but you never know.
DMC says it does. I hope so, I like the look of dual exhaust and most dual exhaust sounds good too.

I really don't think it would help unless heavily modded.

The additional weight will negate any power gains from the added air flow. Just my opinion.
