How difficult or easy is it to repack an exhaust? I'll need to repack mine soon and not exactly sure how to layer the packing..also any pics would be a bonus. (oh yea, i'm running Dasa)

If I remeber, there is a write up on LTR450HQ on repacking the DASA. You might want to search on there also for Junkie's core removal tool.

good luck

it pretty easy you just take the encap off then the canister, i think it adds more power without packing not sure tho
Not yet repacked it given its 110 in AZ but will it before dune season starts up..Ive seen quite a few pics of the canister buring up from riding without packing so it's a must do with the dasa (and probably any other aftermarket exhaust)

a pipe with no packing will ALWAYS LOSE power....not exactly sure what material DASA uses but i have had very good luck with the YAMAHA GYTR repack kits, very easy to install, believe they come in a 14'' or 16''
