Hey Steve, my buddy just called and he has a friend or two going out to Glamis on 10/6 too. I'm checking with the 'boss' now to see if I can go out.
Right on ........ see ya there.

Hey Steve, it was great hooking up with you at Glamis. Your bike is sweet for sure!

I had a blast drag racing some of the bikes that were actually there in this off weekend. I dragged right in front of our camp several times - Gecko Camp Loop (Far North End).

I first raced a 07 700 Raptor with a Yosh Exhaust and a TFI? Fuel Mgmt System. He was talking some good smack, but couldn't walk the walk. I killed him in anything around 100 yards up to 500 yards or so. Then we had a few more bikes join us. Nothing was close to me. I even stomped on a 88 quadzilla. I didn't expect that one! The fasted other bike here was a Raptor 660 with all bolt ons, head work, and a 120 lb kid riding it. We were together on the start, but I clicked into 3rd and above and just started pulling away from him.

Nobody here was running lighter tires, so my Brats had a huge advantage!

Later Saturday night we headed down to the drags near the Ranger station. There were around 20 or so quads racing. The first few passes I made, I stomped who ever I was racing, then some faster guys got up. I remember there were two bikes there that were dead even with me thru the full drags. Both were 450's. One was a white Suzuki, and the other a blue Yamaha.

We did several passes, any of us were ahead by a quad length, depending on our start. The last pass I did we all had great starts. We stayed dead even through the full strip. All three machines were pretty even.

I was the only Kawi I saw out there (at the drags I was doing).

Unfortunately, I got stupid and flipped my quad at about 30 or so right in front of our camp trying to roost a few buddies in a Rhino. Well it slipped out a bit more then expected, swapped back and forth and I flew over the bars and landed in a roll knocking the wind from me. The bike did a quick little flip and landed on its wheels.

Our 'crash' board on Saturday morning (before my crash)

BTW... Scott won as he had a crash + was on fire at one time during the same night.

Today, I'm home licking my wounds. My back is still really sore and I can't lift anything with my right arm.
I'm thinking about going to the doctor to get check out. My front plastic on my bike got broken a bit. The mounting tabs are all broke and the lights have been broken and crushed a bit.

Glad to hear your o.k. ........... It was cool meeting up with you on saturday. I was very impressed with the power my bike had. Since you have the same exact tire, pipe and intake i know your very happy too. I am sure you will find a good deal on the parts to fix the bike.
